New Director for Grayshott Pottery
Grayshott Pottery has announced this week that Glenn Myers will take up a new role within the company as Production Director.
The 39 year old, father of three, has worked for the Pottery for the last twenty two years and began work in 1988 when the company made clocks for many High Street bands. Since then the business, under its commercial name of 'Grayshott Stoneware', has diversified into catering-ware for restaurants and pubs but also produces hand thrown studio art ceramics for homes and galleries. Glenn, who enjoys football but is also a keen golfer, currently manages the production team within the workshop and will take up his new Director position, effective immediately.
Glenn said, "I am really looking forward to shaping the future of the business. It is important that we move forward and look at modern approaches where we can. I really enjoy the technical design elements of my job and hope that I will be able to develop this further too".
Phil Bates, Trustee for Grayshott Pottery, said, "We are delighted that Glenn has agreed to take up the post. Having known Glenn from a very young age, I am personally extremely pleased that he is now a director. Glenn has grown up in Grayshott and knows the village community really well and he has worked very hard over a long time and has been a conscientious member of staff. We are very happy to be able to reward him in this way".
Ed Snell, Managing Director, said,"It is a pleasure to have Glenn on the board. He has a great approach to life and to work and we know he will continue to be a great asset to us all."
