Janna Wareham
Janna studied Art & Design at Guildford College, specialising in all forms of painting including watercolours, chalk pastels and charcoal. She started at Grayshott Pottery in 1999 and has become skillful in various pottery processes, managing decorating, glazing and kiln firing from 2003. She is now the pottery's head decorator and enjoys experimenting with glazes, colour and abstract design.
Marieka Snell
Marieka trained in Devon and Surrey by the artists of Dartington Pottery. Many members of her family are potters both here and in the Netherlands, so it was inevitable that she would follow the same craft. After enjoying art at school she studied a short course at Dillington in Somerset which explored 'Country detail in watercolour'. This sparked her interest in nature and she is now developing her own style of one-off pieces, which are very finely detailed.
Donna Cockram
Donna came to Grayshott Pottery straight from school after studying Art & Design. She has a great deal of experience having worked in every pottery discipline throughout the factory from making and finishing to glazing and firing. Donna is fascinated by the 1940's and 1950's, and these influences are clearly evident in her work.
Giselle Snell
Giselle began working at the Pottery as a decorator over 30 years ago. Giselle thoroughly enjoys experimenting with the dynamic Dartington glazes and takes inspiration for many of her pieces from her memories of holidays by the coastline of Britain and her love of flowers.
Stephanie Robinson
Stephanie studied Creative Art at Bath Spa University, graduating with a first class honours degree, specialising in ceramics, textiles and art. Stephanie joined the Grayshott Pottery decorating team in 2012. Inspired by the textile designer William Morris, Stephanie applies the rich colours of the Dartington glazes to produce exquisite individual one off designs.
