Our one-day courses are the perfect start for people wanting to try their hand at throwing clay on a potter’s wheel.
We run these courses in small class sizes to ensure you get as much one on one tuition as possible.
The courses are usually held on Saturdays and Sundays and run from 10.00am until 3.30pm.
The course includes:
* Two pieces per person fired and glazed to be collected at a later date. Any additional pieces charged at £15 per piece to be paid for on the day.
We also provide refreshments throughout the day and a tasty lunch with the group in our Kiln Café.

Please note: We hold your masterpiece for 6 months. Any pot or piece not collected in this period will be disposed of.

Zaccheaus joined the pottery team in 2022 as a production thrower and tutor. With many years experience of pottery throwing and sculpting, Zaccheaus is highly creative and enjoys passing on these skills to his students.
Sujean Figueroa
Joining the company in 2021, Sujean started working in the finishing department. Her love of pottery led her to move into production throwing where she continues to explore and develop new techniques with throwing and design.
