Delivery and Returns Policy
Each Product purchased is sold subject to its Product Description. We will take all reasonable care to ensure that the details, descriptions and prices of Products appearing on the Website are correct at the time when the information was entered onto the system.
All items on our website are sold subject to availability. If an item you have ordered is not available we will inform you as soon as possible.
Our studio pottery is a handcrafted product where glazes are applied by hand. As a result of this process there may be slight variation in colour when fired. Occasionally iron specks from the clay body show through on the finished item and therefore no two pieces are identical.
Please take care when entering any names for personalised items as we cannot offer refunds or replacements for personalised items unless they are faulty.
Personalisation will be painted exactly as entered, including any capitalisation (e.g. Chloe, chloe, CHLOE).
Each piece in our personalised gift range is hand decorated and therefore there may be some slight variation from the illustration.
Personalisation is currently only offered on our Children’s range.
Delivery of goods to a UK mainland address is free of charge for orders over £75. Otherwise, a £7.50 charge applies. The company aims to deliver within 10 working days from receipt of order. Please allow up to 15 working days for delivery of personalised items. For orders outside of the UK mainland, please contact us for carriage cost. We are unable to specify a time of delivery.
In most cases deliveries are made with a courier, in the case of orders less than 5 kilos in weight these may go by post and will be at the discretion of Grayshott Pottery. We are unable to deliver to P. O. Boxes.
Upon receipt of your delivery please check the condition of the goods. Your order will be deemed to be accepted unless you notify us within 48 hours that there is a problem. If you fail to take such action, we are not obligated to accept any rejection by you of the goods at a later date.
If you wish to cancel your order before it has arrived with you, please contact us. As we aim to get goods delivered as quickly as possible, we would ask you to contact us immediately on 01428 604404 or email firstname.lastname@example.org Under the Distance Selling Regulations, you have the legal right to cancel your order within seven working days of receiving the goods. Your statutory rights are not affected.
If you are not entirely happy with your purchase, you can return your item/s. You should inform us within 7 days of the date of delivery, by email email@example.com, or call 01428 604404.
Goods must be returned to us at your cost within 28 days and we will reimburse you no later than 14 days after the day we receive the goods back from you. We would request that items are packed with care as any goods returned to us broken or damaged cannot be refunded.
We recommend that you return goods via a recorded delivery service and retain the proof of postage as we cannot accept liability for any goods that do not reach our warehouse.
Your right to return does not apply to goods that are made to your specification or that have been personalised.
This does not affect your statutory rights if goods are faulty or not as described.
